2014 KÖRA-PACKMAT becomes a 100% subsidiary of the MGI Graphic Technology Group, France, enabling long-term participation in the continuously growing digital printing market. The development and manufacturing of precision transport platforms for digital printing systems and KÖRA-PACKMAT’s portfolio of feeding, handling and packaging systems complement each other ideally. The resulting synergies allow for a continuous innovation process in both business fields.
2017 Market launch of a new generation of the proven VMC105 film packaging machines.
2018 Establishment of an in-house parts manufacturing facility with CNC machining centers. This in-house production significantly reduces procurement times and meets the market demand for increasingly shorter project lead times.
2019 Market launch of the PPR rotary feeder, forming the basis for a new generation of rotary feeding systems.
2021 Introduction of the new K-Logic control system. The new control system combines modern servo drive technology with intuitive operator guidance. It enables faster parameter setup during product changeovers, higher feeding accuracy, and modern communication interfaces such as Modbus/TCP and optional OPC UA. The development was carried out in close cooperation with customers.
2024 Change in management.
Mr. Knödler steps down as Managing Director and retires. The management is taken over by the long-standing employees Mr. Thomas Kurbel and Mr. Volkmar Kießling.
